Mill Repairs

Oct 2021: Mill shut down due to cracks found in the main shaft of the water wheel. This shaft was put in service in 1954 and the tree was   estimated to be 195 years old when put into service.

July 18, 2024: A white oak tree was cut down to make the new main shaft for the Mill, it will now take six to 12 months for the shaft to dry.
